Living in Freedom Together (LIFT)

Living in Freedom Together, a survivor-led organization working to end the sex trade, approached Action! by Design to help them redefine and focus their brand and tell the story of their organization. They were drawn to Action! by Design because of our commitment to centering the voices of those most impacted by the challenges organizations are tackling; in LIFT’s case — sexual violence and exploitation.

Through intentional and comprehensive workshops, we engaged survivors, the LIFT team, and the community to better understand the issues, the solutions, and the stories that could connect people to this work. We helped to craft a narrative for the organization that reflected these conversations.

Following the redevelopment of the LIFT brand, which you can see here, we have been working with the organization to build a coalition working to further this effort and continue to support the design of new initiatives by facilitating design sessions, drafting strategies, and turning these ideas into actionable projects.
