Project-Based Internships

The Action! Interns Program

Not your average internship.

At Action! by Design, people and community are at the center of all we do. We believe in creating purpose-driven, project-based internships for self-starting students (both high school and college age).

Job and internship titles can be vague, confusing, and, tbh, sound pretty boring at times. At Action! by Design, we want to know what motivates and energizes you; we'll worry about the title later. We've got a scrappy startup mentality where everyone has various responsibilities but are also excited to pick up and learn new things. You'll be a great fit for our team if you love learning, have a passion that drives you, and are a self-starter.

We believe in the power of project-based learning.

Each internship we offer has a project component that we build with you that taps into your passions, goals, and aspirations. Having a tangible project by the end of your internship is a strong resume builder and shows future employers that you have real-world experience in areas you're passionate about.
